By default, Unified Write Manager [UWF] is set to Disabled in Windows 10. (UWF replaces EWF from Windows 7)
To update UWF:
- Right-click over the Start button and select Control Panel.
- Select Thinlabs UWF Manager (32-Bit).
- Click Yes to allow the program to make changes.
- Update the Current State to either Disabled or Enabled.
- After updating, click OK at the reboot required prompt.
- Reboot the system.
